Hello LoVers, Valentine’s Day has come and gone. (Phew!) The roses are gone, the pressure is off but winter is still very much here. If you feel that subtle emotional defrost happening… that quiet longing for something new… you’re not alone. This is the time of year when singles get honest and still have time to sit in it. Honest about app fatigue. Honest about wanting something real. Honest about being tired of being alone and even more so what they’re doing about it. There’s a noticeable buzz right now around matchmakers and dating experts - new podcasts, bigger conversations, and a real shifts from swiping to intention. From the inside, I can tell you: more singles are choosing to step off the apps and into something more curated, more supported, more aligned. Sometimes too much is just simply TOO MUCH! Our Valentine’s event was wonderful, truly. But the biggest shift in my world over the last few years has been behind the scenes. More of my time has moved toward private matchmaking clients who are ready to date with clarity and commitment. And here’s the part no one loves to hear: whether you attend events, work with a matchmaker, invest in coaching, or stay on the apps — dating requires bravery. It requires resilience. There will be rejection. There will be moments you want to quit. It’s going to hurt. But what if you knew - with certainty - that you had to go on 30 dates with the wrong people before you met the right one? Would you show up differently for those next 29? Would you take things less personally? Would you keep at it a little longer? Would the rejection/redirection sting a little less? Just something to think about. Spring is coming. Sometimes the defrost starts before the bloom. Here for you. xo Click here to see my interview on CT BUZZ on News 8 where I talk about how modern dating and romance is CHANGING and how to make the best of it. Want to chat?
