Welcome to Jillin' It, a boutique matchmaking and dating coaching firm dedicated to helping relationship-minded singles build meaningful, lasting relationships through personalized introductions, recruiting, coaching, and concierge-level support.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Jillin' It website, database, coaching services, matchmaking services, events, communications, and related offerings (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing our website, submitting an application, joining our database, purchasing services, or otherwise engaging with Jillin' It, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which together constitute the agreement between you and Jillin' It ("Agreement").

 

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Services, you agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices, Services, or applicable law. To use Jillin' It's matchmaking services or become a member of our database, you represent that you:

• Are legally single or legally separated

• Are genuinely interested in pursuing a committed relationship

• Will provide complete, accurate, and truthful information

• Have not intentionally provided misleading or fraudulent information

• Are not using our Services on behalf of another matchmaking agency or competing business

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue Services at our sole discretion if we believe these requirements have not been met.

 

3. Client Responsibilities

We strive to create a respectful, confidential, and professional community. By participating in our Services, you agree to:

• Treat prospective matches, clients, recruits, and Jillin' It staff with honesty, courtesy, and respect.

• Maintain the confidentiality of introductions, profiles, photographs, and personal information shared through our Services.

• Respond to communications from Jillin' It within a reasonable period whenever possible.

• Notify Jillin' It if your relationship status changes or if information you have provided becomes materially inaccurate.

• Provide honest feedback regarding introductions when requested.

You further agree that you will not:

• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or intimidate another individual.

• Misrepresent your identity, age, relationship status, occupation, or other material facts.

• Copy, photograph, screenshot, record, distribute, publish, or publicly share another person's profile, photographs, or personal information without their express permission.

• Use Jillin' It for solicitation, commercial purposes, advertising, or recruiting.

• Make knowingly false, defamatory, or malicious statements regarding Jillin' It, its employees, clients, or members.

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your participation in our Services.

 

4. Our Services

Jillin' It provides personalized matchmaking, recruiting, relationship coaching, introductions, events, educational resources, and related services.

Our matching process considers factors including, but not limited to:

• relationship goals

• values

• lifestyle

• interests

• compatibility

• preferences

• availability

• geographic considerations

We may recruit prospective matches through referrals, networking, professional contacts, public information, social media, trusted matchmaking partners, and other lawful methods.

Individuals introduced through Jillin' It are not necessarily paying clients.

Submission of an application or participation in our database does not guarantee acceptance, introductions, dates, or continued participation.

 

5. No Guarantee of Results

While we are committed to providing thoughtful, personalized matchmaking services, relationships depend upon many factors beyond our control.

Accordingly, Jillin' It does not guarantee:

• acceptance into our database

• introductions

• communication from prospective matches

• mutual interest

• chemistry

• dating

• exclusivity

• engagement

• marriage

• or any other specific outcome.

Compatibility assessments are inherently subjective and are based upon the information available at the time of matching.

Participation in our Services should be viewed as an opportunity to meet compatible individuals—not as a guarantee of any particular relationship outcome.

 

6. Assumption of Risk

Meeting new people involves inherent personal, emotional, and physical risks.

By participating in Jillin' It's Services, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with communications, introductions, meetings, travel, dates, and relationships resulting from your participation.

You remain solely responsible for your own decisions before, during, and after any introduction.

We strongly encourage members to exercise good judgment, meet in public places for initial meetings, and avoid sharing sensitive financial or personal information until an appropriate level of trust has been established.

7. Background Checks and Personal Responsibility

Your safety is important to us. Jillin' It takes care in screening prospective clients and recruits; however, unless expressly stated in writing as part of a specific service, Jillin' It does not conduct criminal background checks, credit checks, employment verification, or identity verification on every individual in our database.

While we may perform limited screening or verification in certain circumstances, you should never assume that another individual has been background checked or verified.

Each client remains solely responsible for exercising appropriate judgment before, during, and after any interaction with another individual.

 

8. Communications

By providing your email address and telephone number, you consent to receive communications from Jillin' It regarding your application, matchmaking services, introductions, scheduling, coaching, events, newsletters, and other company updates.

Communications may be delivered by:

• Email

• Telephone

• SMS/Text Message

Message and data rates may apply.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in those communications. You may opt out of text messages by following the instructions provided in the message (such as replying "STOP"), although doing so may limit our ability to communicate with you regarding your participation in our Services.

 

9. Confidentiality

Because matchmaking involves highly personal information, confidentiality is essential.

Clients and members agree to respect the privacy of everyone they meet through Jillin' It.

You agree not to:

• share another person's profile

• forward profiles or photographs

• screenshot profile information

• publish or post another person's information online

• disclose identifying information about another client without their permission

Likewise, Jillin' It treats your personal information with care and only shares information as described in our Privacy Policy.

 

10. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Jillin' It—including our website, branding, logos, coaching materials, questionnaires, compatibility assessments, written profiles, educational materials, graphics, photographs created by Jillin' It, and other proprietary content—is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Client profiles, biographies, compatibility summaries, and other materials created by Jillin' It remain the intellectual property of Jillin' It unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, or commercially use our materials without prior written permission.

 

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Jillin' It provides its website, matchmaking services, coaching, recruiting, educational resources, and related services on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jillin' It disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including any warranties regarding:

• availability of the Services

• uninterrupted operation

• fitness for a particular purpose

• merchantability

• non-infringement

• or that our Services will produce any particular outcome.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jillin' It shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your participation in our Services.

This includes, without limitation:

• the actions of another client

• the outcome of any introduction

• emotional distress

• relationship decisions

• loss of opportunity

• travel expenses

• financial losses

• or other damages arising from participation in our Services.

Jillin' It's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

 

13. Coaching Disclaimer

Any coaching, educational materials, suggestions, or guidance provided by Jillin' It are intended for informational and educational purposes only.

They are not legal, medical, psychological, psychiatric, financial, or therapeutic advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for licensed professional services.

 

14. Termination of Services

Jillin' It reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation in our Services at any time if we reasonably believe a client or member has:

• violated these Terms

• provided materially false information

• engaged in unsafe, unlawful, abusive, or inappropriate conduct

• harassed another client or member

• used our Services for fraudulent or commercial purposes

Termination of participation does not necessarily require deletion of your information. Jillin' It may retain information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, or maintain appropriate business records.

 

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal action arising out of these Terms or the Services provided by Jillin' It shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located within Connecticut, and each party consents to the jurisdiction of those courts.

 

16. General Legal Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Failure by Jillin' It to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights.

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Jillin' It may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or business reorganization.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any separately executed Service Agreement, constitute the entire agreement governing your use of Jillin' It's Services.
