Looks aren’t everything. Who knew, right? According to Bumble’s annual report, dating trends in 2025 show that singles are now swiping more for shared values, emotional depth, and real talk over just a cute photo. However, a new global study found that couples who met offlinereport higher satisfaction, intimacy, and commitment than those who met online. Hmmmm…

I hear from singles every day who download an app, feel hopeful, and then delete it soon after. Why? Because apps make it seem like we should know exactly what we’re looking for but the truth is, most of us don’t fully know until we find it. That’s why so many people jump off the apps just as quickly as they jump on. At least, that’s a common theme among those who call me looking for a more intentional approach.

So my 2 cents is this: Focus more on making the right connection and less on chasing the same 1% that so many others have their app set to catch,  Finding someone whose values and energy align with yours usually happens when you step away from the algorithm and into real life.
