Hello LoVers,

We all have a “pattern blind spot” in dating. That one familiar “type” we keep choosing, even when we swear we’ve evolved past it. I can’t tell you how many times someone describes their “ideal partner,” to me and they have unknowingly given me a detailed rundown of their ex.  Often times it’ll be the same traits, same energy, same emotional outcome just waiting to happen. That’s a pattern blind spot at work. We all have a “type,” but sometimes that type is just an old emotional wound wearing better clothes. It’s attractive because it’s familiar. The good news is, once you can name the script you’ve been replaying, you finally get to rewrite it… and that’s when dating gets easier, healthier, and way less chaotic.

I’m back and finally nearing the bottom on my inbox from a week away at the Matchmakers Alliance conference. Attending these provides an invaluable additional layer of opportunity for my private clients . Plus, as you’d imagine, matchmakers are a really fun and eclectic bunch of heart-centered people and the bonds and experiences had at these conferences are priceless. I am so grateful to be able to do the work I do and enjoy the collaborative conferences so much.

With that said, there has been a lot happening here behind the scenes (all good things!) and 2026 is going to be a great year full of many new opportunities for you, singles! Plus, stay tuned for the details on the 2025 Singles Holiday Soiree in December.
