Hello LoVers,

Hello from Turks and Caicos! I’m delighted to be here celebrating LOVE  as my client, Chris, marries Abby. Yes! Another Jillin’ It success story. My heart is so full!

Moments like this never get old for me. Because behind every wedding, every “we set a second date,” every “you nailed this”… is something much simpler: Just two people who decided to show up, stay open, and give something a real chance.

And at the very same time, I’m having conversations behind the scenes with singles who are passing on objectively great, aligned matches because the attraction isn’t immediate or doesn’t match a very specific “type” that they envision.  And I get it. Attraction matters.

But here’s what I see, over and over again: (and I genuinely don’t want this to happen to you!) When people optimize for a very narrow version of attraction, they often miss the kind that actually grows. The kind that builds through conversation, through safety, through shared experiences. The kind that lasts.

Chris and Abby didn’t meet and instantly know they were getting married. They met. There was enough there, they kept going, and here we are!

Attraction isn’t always a lightning bolt. Sometimes it’s a slow burn. Sometimes it’s a quiet curiosity that deepens the more you get to know someone. And if you’re only chasing the instant “Damn!” you might be unknowingly saying no to something that could have become everything.

So wherever you are in your dating life right now, here’s the invitation: STAY OPEN. Look for the 20% at first not the 100. Let something build before you decide it’s not there.

If you’re ready to experience dating differently, the private matchmaking waitlist is open for those seeking a more thoughtful, supported path. Here for you.

Singles Spotlight: Is SHE Your Match?

MEN, ages 37-47, in the tri-state area… Are you grounded, emotionally intelligent, and ready for something real? Do you bring warmth, a sense of humor, and an easy, confident presence?

If this sounds like you, you may be a match for my client, M. M is the kind of woman who makes life feel fuller, warmer, and more fun just by being in it. A physician by career and a nurturer by nature, she balances being deeply caring with an easy, engaging presence. She’s the friend who hosts, remembers the little things, and brings a sense of ease to any room she’s in. She’s outgoing, quick to laugh, and finds joy in the everyday - whether she’s cooking, traveling, or spending time with friends and family. She values partnership, closeness, and creating a home that feels warm, supportive, and alive with meaning and family.

HOT TOPIC: Should You Follow the 3-3-3 Rule?

The 3-3-3 rule suggests that you should have three key checkpoints during the earlier stages of dating someone—after three dates, after three weeks, and after three months. These are checkpoints for you to evaluate where things are at, whether there is actually a real fit between the two of you, and whether you should continue to deepen ties versus cut them altogether.

Read about it here and tell me what you think!

TOP 3: Signs You Are Coming On Too Strong

  1. You’re leading most of the interaction: If you’re almost always the one texting first, initiating plans, or keeping conversations going, that’s a sign the energy isn’t balanced. Early dating should feel like a back-and-forth, not you pulling the connection forward.

  2. You’re escalating faster than the relationship: This can be emotional, time-based, or future-focused. Even if it feels natural to you, it can feel like pressure if they’re not there yet.

  3. They’re subtly pulling back: This is often the biggest signal. When someone feels overwhelmed, they rarely say it directly—they just create space.
