Hello LoVers,

Keeping your head above water in the dating POOL can be exhausting. I get it. Every date or relationship that isn’t “the one” can seem like a failure and another reason to give up but I’m begging you to ZOOM OUT.

Not everyone is going to be a match for you but it’s the SINGLES who date with INTENTION and trust that where every they are they are there for a REASON that benefit the most from the experience. Look BEYOND what’s right in front of you. You never know where a connection may lead you. Stay OPEN. (Are you sick of hearing me say that yet?)

I cannot tell you how many times COUPLES have met because of a connection they made at an event. Sarah made a friend that set her up with a close cousin and now they’re married. Kim talked to a stranger who ended up inviting her to a party after the event where she never would have gone and met her husband there. Rob left an event with no real connections but feeling more confident to talk to women and ended up meeting the woman who was getting in the car next to him after they event who was coming from another restaurant. They are married with 3 kids now. At least a dozen times people come to my events and meet NO ONE who is right for them there. Except they met me and now they are in a relationships with my private matchmaking clients. ZOOM OUT.

Please, LET GO OF CONTROL. BE WHERE YOU ARE. GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY. LOOK UP. OPEN YOUR HEART. DROP THE BITTERNESS AND LET LOVE FLOW TO YOU. WATCH WHAT HAPPENS. DEEP BREATH. I LOVE YOU. SEE YOU SOON. SORRY FOR THE CAPS. THIS GETS ME HEATED. :)

HOT TOPIC: The Loneliness of Being Right

In intimate relationships, anger is simply an indication that the other person doesn’t like the way things are going in the relationship and would like things to be better. Conflict often goes awry when couples argue about the “facts” as if they were a couple of attorneys trying to win a case. Not surprisingly, none of this flood of information changes either’s perspective one little bit.

Read about it here and tell me what you think!

TOP 3: Ways to Build Trust in Relationships

  1. Keep Your Word: Follow through on promises, both big and small. Reliability builds confidence over time, showing your partner they can count on you.

  2. Be Open and Honest: Share your thoughts, feelings, and intentions clearly. Being transparent—even when it’s uncomfortable—shows that you value honesty over perfection.

  3. Listen Without Judgment: Make space for your partner to express themselves without fear of criticism. Feeling heard and accepted fosters emotional safety, the foundation of deep trust.

The Funnies! Because You’ve Got to Laugh…

Text conversation labeled "Me trying to flirt" with repetitive "Good, and you?" messages in blue and grey bubbles, conveying awkwardness.
Text on a white background reads: "My love language is being very difficult and annoying." The mood is humorous and playful.
