Hello LoVers,

I just got back from an incredible trip through the Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon, and standing inside those massive, perfectly sculpted walls, I kept thinking about what created all of this gorgeousness. Water. Not force. Not pressure. Just water. Slowly. Softly. Simply by continuing to flow.

And naturally, because apparently I think of everything in terms of dating advice, I thought: There's a lesson here.

As women, dating can bring out our desire to make things happen. We pursue. We plan. We analyze. We try to move things forward or control the outcome.

But there is incredible power in a softer energy... receiving rather than chasing. Inviting rather than controlling. Responding rather than forcing.

And guys, this applies to you, too. There's a difference between confidently taking the lead and trying to force a connection. You can be intentional about what you want without trying to control how it unfolds.

That doesn't mean being passive. Water certainly isn't passive... Just look what it's capable of creating! (Below.)

It means knowing when to take action and when to allow. When to lean in and when to leave some space for someone else to come toward you.

Maybe the dating advice this week is that simple: Let it flow without forcing where it goes.

Stay open. Stay curious. Keep moving and simply trust that not everything beautiful needs to be forced into existence.

Turns out, you don't have to be hard to be powerful. Water made this masterpiece… slowly, softly, just by continuing to flow.

If you're ready for more intentional opportunities to meet the right people, I'm here for you. Whether it's dating guidance or private matchmaking, let's create more possibilities for the kind of connection you're actually looking for. 💛 Get in touch to schedule a complimentary 15 minute call to see if my private and personalized Matchmaking service is a fit for you and let's see what's possible.

HOT TOPIC: Finding Yourself vs Finding Love

Finding a romantic partner is no small task. Neither is figuring out an answer to the age-old question, "Who am I?" Can these two tasks be pursued simultaneously? Or, must you "know yourself" before you're able to have a successful relationship?

Read about it here and tell me what you think!

TOP 3: Signs of Trauma Bonding

  1. You feel intensely attached despite repeated harm: You know the relationship is hurting you, but the emotional pull to stay feels overwhelming.

  2. The relationship cycles between pain and intense affection: Hurt, conflict, or mistreatment is followed by apologies, affection, promises, or unusually good periods—making you feel hopeful again.

  3. You find yourself defending or minimizing their behavior: You make excuses for them, blame yourself, or focus heavily on the good moments while downplaying the harmful ones.
