Hello LoVers,

What women want on a date and what men want on a date aren’t always the same and that makes sense. We are different. Women often want to feel chosen, relaxed, and emotionally safe. Men often want to feel successful, appreciated, and at ease. Finding the middle ground shouldn’t feel performative. When he leads without pressure and she responds without over-managing or feeling the need to carry the date, both people get to show up more honestly. This is where feminine and masculine energy naturally thrives and where attraction grows. The goal isn’t to impress or audition; it’s to create an experience where both people feel comfortable being themselves. Dating works best when effort is offered, energy is received, and no one’s trying to perform. Try that and let me know how it feels.

The Jillin’ It LoVe CluB just kicked off a 6-week guided reset called Less Hustle, More Heart: The New Dating Strategy for 2026,  If you’re ready to date smarter and feel better doing it, Get in there and we’ll send over week 1’s recording to get you caught up. xo

Singles Spotlight: Is HE Your Match?

LADIES between the ages of 65-80 in the CT/NY/NJ area..… Are you warm, grounded, and curious? Do you appreciate culture and conversation?

If this sounds like you, you may be a match for my thoughtful, accomplished, and quietly adventurous client, K. K loves culture, great conversation, and evenings that feel intentional—cooking together, films by the fire, or sunset boat rides on the lake. A seasoned traveler, he prefers meaningful travel over rushing: exploring by car, lingering in one place, and looks forward to sharing time in northern Italy or southern France with a partner who values depth and connection as much as he does.

HOT TOPIC: The 3-6-9 Rule for Relationships

Like most relationship rules, the 3-6-9 rule isn't a hard and fast one that has legal consequences or holds all the time for everyone. But it does provide some rough guidelines as to how soon may be too soon to make long-term commitments and how long may be too long to stick with a relationship. Each of the three numbers—three, six, and nine—stands for the month that a different common stage of a relationship tends to end.

Read about it here and tell me what you think!

A man in a blue cardigan bursts into a room animatedly. A bike hangs on the wall, and a red lamp is visible. The mood is energetic.

TOP 3: Ways to Be Emotionally Available

  1. Be honest about your feelings (with yourself first): Emotional availability starts internally. Notice what you’re actually feeling instead of pushing it away or staying busy to avoid it. Share feelings in real time when appropriate, rather than after they’ve piled up.

  2. Communicate clearly instead of protecting yourself: Being emotionally available doesn’t mean oversharing—it means being real. Say what you want, need, or hope for without hinting or testing. Express concerns early, calmly, and directly.

  3. Stay present, even when it’s uncomfortable: Availability shows up most when things feel awkward or vulnerable. Don’t shut down, disappear, or distract when emotions get heavy. Listen without planning your defense or exit. Allow closeness to grow at a natural pace instead of controlling it.
