Hello LoVers,

I hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July surrounded by sunshine, good food, fireworks of one kind or another... and most importantly, people who LOVE YOU.

If there's one thing I wish for you, it's that you don't wait until you're in a relationship to celebrate the LOVE in YOUR LIFE. Yes, my work is to help people find LOVE, and I believe deeply in the beauty and importance of partnership. But I also believe this: your life deserves to be celebrated now, not someday. The relationships you nurture with friends, family, your community, and most importantly, with yourself, are all part of your beautiful life of love.

This weekend, I hope you look around the barbecue, the beach, the family party or wherever you gather and notice something. You already have love in your life. Friends. Family. Neighbors. Kids. Coworkers. A community. Romantic love is a beautiful chapter, but it isn't the only kind of love worth celebrating.

The path to building the healthiest relationship isn't putting your life on hold while you wait. It's living it. Laughing. Noticing all of the love that's already in your life. Trying new things. Saying YES to invitations. Building friendships. Creating memories. The people who find the deepest, healthiest partnerships understand that a full, joyful life doesn't compete with romantic love... it creates the perfect place for it to grow.

So CELEBRATE YOUR INDEPENDENCE. Celebrate your people. Celebrate the life you've already built. Then keep making room for someone extraordinary to join it.

If you're ready to say YES to finding love with the same intention you've brought to building the rest of your life, I'd love to hear your story. Let's explore whether private matchmaking is the right next step for you.

Singles Spotlight: Is HE Your Match?

WOMEN, ages 35-42, in CT/NYC areas ... Are you warm, feminine, and emotionally present? Do you live an active lifestyle? Love time on the water? Are you open to starting a family?

If this sounds like you, you may be a match for my ambitious, educated, and loyal client, W. W is active, social, and happiest when he's near the water or outdoors. He loves skiing, sailing, travel, and the beach. Sailing is a huge part of his life—he races sailboats, volunteers on race committee boats, and owns both a sailboat and a motorboat. He enjoys an active, coastal lifestyle and appreciates a balance of adventure, relaxation, and meaningful connection.

HOT TOPIC: Falling in Love Too Quickly

Falling in love is exhilarating. The real danger is not speed, but illusion. When love arrives quickly, the risk is not the intensity of attraction but the possibility that our early evaluations of a partner are incomplete or distorted.

Read about it here and tell me what you think!

TOP 3: Ways to Deal with a Bad Date

  1. Don't Force Chemistry That Isn't There: Sometimes a date is simply not a match. You don't need to convince yourself to feel something just because they seem nice. Not every date is meant to lead somewhere.

  2. Stay Polite, But Protect Your Energy: You can be kind without overextending yourself. Respect them, but don't sacrifice your comfort to avoid awkwardness.

  3. Take the Lesson, Then Move On: A bad date is still useful if you learn from it. Every bad date gives you more clarity about your standards, preferences, and deal-breakers.
