Hello LoVers,

Communicate about communication? Yep! One thing I am constantly reminding singles to do in early stages of dating is to simply talk about how they like to communicate. Not just what you say but how (and how often) you say it. Some people love texting all day, some prefer a quick check-in and then connecting in person, and others would rather hop on a quick call than send 25 messages back and forth. None of these styles are wrong… but they can absolutely be incompatible and lead to unnecessary hurt and confusion.

I see this all the time: one person thinks less texting means less interest, while the other thinks constant texting feels overwhelming. Suddenly two people who might actually like each other are misreading the signals. Early dating is a great time to simply say, “Hey, I’m not a huge texter but I love catching up on the phone,” or if you don’t like to text all week in the beginning and you know they do, just be clear, “Looking forward to seeing you Saturday! I’ll reach out Friday to confirm. Have a great week!” This removes any question of interest and intention. Positively reinforcing communication that made you feel good goes a long way too. “It made me smile to get this message from you tonight.” Easy enough. Right?

Clear communication about communication removes a lot of unnecessary guesswork and that’s where that buildable connection gets a lot easier.

If you’re ready for more structure and support in your dating life, the waitlist is open for my private matchmaking programs. The right matches happen when timing and courage meet intention.

Incase you missed it on Insta…

Green flags rarely feel intoxicating. They feel steady and predictable. More calm than exotic. And for a lot of singles, that can actually feel… unfamiliar (especially, given the wild rides we see in movies).  We’ve been conditioned to equate butterflies with compatibility. To confuse intensity with intimacy. To interpret unpredictability as passion.

Let me know what you make of these green flags in dating… Click here to view.

Singles Spotlight: Is SHE Your Match?

MEN, ages 35-48, in the CT/NYC area… Are you confident, positive, and emotionally steady? Do you take initiative, enjoy travel, and are open to new experiences? Are you family-oriented and want to have children?

If this sounds like you, you may be a match for my confident and thoughtful client, C. C has a calm presence and a lively mind. She’s warm, affectionate, and intentional. She enjoys meaningful conversation, and is excited to try new things—whether that’s travel, a new restaurant, or a spontaneous plan. She values health, ambition, and emotional maturity, and she brings the same to the table.

HOT TOPIC: Clear Coding in Dating

You may have heard the "clear coding" term floating around the dating world. After all, the dating app Tinder has listed clear coding as one of the dating trends for 2026. But while there may be clear reasons to have an interest in clear coding, a question may be whether you and others are ready to get with the program, so to speak.

Read about it here and tell me what you think!

TOP 3: Ways to Be Kinder to Yourself After a Breakup

  1. Feel Your Feelings: Allow yourself to feel the full range of emotions without judgment. It’s OK to be sad. It’s OK to be angry. It’s OK to miss them. Welcome each emotion, knowing that each feeling is part of the healing process.

  2. Limit the “What-Ifs”: It’s tempting to replay the relationship over and over, looking for where things went wrong. However, excessive rumination just steals time that could be used for self-healing. Set a time limit if you need to, and then gently bring yourself back to the present.

  3. Separate Thoughts From Emotions: Acknowledge your situation and separate what you feel from what you think about it. For example, “I feel sad, I feel lonely” does not have to become "I am not good enough” or “I will never be loved again.” Labeling your feelings as good or bad is a thought, not a feeling.

The Funnies! Because You’ve Got to Laugh…

A person in a maroon top points at empty store shelves, conveying a sense of searching. Text above reads: "me looking for someone...".
