Halloween’s over so it’s the perfect time to TAKE OFF THE MASKS… I’m not talking about the costume kind, but the ones we wear on dates and in NEW CONNECTIONS. The right person doesn’t need a perfect connection, they want an AUTHENTIC one. Try showing a little more of your REAL humor, your QUIRKS and your UNFILTERED thoughts. That’s where real connection starts. The masks come off eventually anyways. Just be yourself. Somebody is going to LOVE that.

And while we’re talking post-Halloween … let’s leave the GHOSTING behind too. If you’re not feeling it, a kind, honest message goes a long way. LET THEM OFF THE HOOK. Send a simple “I don’t feel a connection beyond friendship but I really think you’re great. I know you’re going to find what you’er looking for and I wish you all the best.” It’s the right thing to do.  Go ahead and save that to your notes to use next time. You’re welcome ;)
