Hello LoVers,

Whether you're dating at 28 or 82, none of us enters a new connection as a blank slate. We bring with us the beautiful experiences that showed us what love can be and the painful ones that taught us what we never want to feel again.

There is nothing wrong with having high standards. Knowing what you deserve is powerful. But sometimes what we call a standard or even intuition is actually fear wearing a very convincing disguise. Sure, your past gets a vote, but it don't let it call the shots.

Try to let your experiences clarify what truly matters to you without convincing you that the future will only repeat the past.

I get it. It hurts to get hurt! But it is SO beautiful to witness the raw vulnerability of my clients and it is often that very willingness to be vulnerable that helps lead them into the relationships they desire and deserve.

It is not too late for you at any age, in any stage or after any experience. You're always right on time and exactly where you're supposed to be. I believe that, and I am witness to it daily.

Beneath the lists, the lessons, the wounds and the wisdom, we all want the same beautifully human thing... simply to love and be loved.
